Preparations for our Tailgating Parties start weeks, months, even years in advance. In spite of all the planning, there are a few things we can't do until the night before, like food preparation, clothes washing, packing the coolers. The morning of the race is the busiest - we have found we need to wake-up earlier each year, as our Tailgating gets more sophisticated... You know what? We still forget stuff - important things, like tickets - or ice - or money... But hey, it all works out by the time we pull into the track parking lot.
5 lbs of bacon - plus...

3 lbs. of Pork Sausage, Large Onion - plus...

2 Lbs. Ham (Cut in chunks) - plus...

Plus 3 Lbs. Hashbrowns, 2 Lbs. Cheese and 5 doz. eggs - equals...

Nutritious & Delicious BREAKFAST CASSEROLE!

Not a good choice for Jewish diets, but works great for Atkins if you leave out the hashbrowns! I will freeze this, and then reheat it early Saturday morning! Always a big hit at any group gathering! (The small one on the left is for Judy Kay, the vegetarian in the group! It has none of the pork products mentioned above, but instead has hashbrowns, eggs, cheese, a can of Rotel tomatoes, sliced mushrooms and onion.) - Kathy Beth

These are NASCarla's Tailgating accessories, it's a trick to make everything fit in her Grand Prix - somehow she manages... Fortunately Kathy Beth has a GMC pick-up, because Judy Kay has to pack her Grand Prix too!
As
far as Road-Trip Tailgating - things have to be scaled down, just so we
have room for maps, luggage and munchies... plus all the shopping bags full
of the goodies we bring back from the Souvenier trailers!
Oh - Don't forget the sunscreen!
