Here's a great gift from my Favorite Driver and Pit Crew - The Walkers! Thanks everybody, you have no idea what this means to me! Well, maybe you do...

Tony was real happy to see all the gifts I brought home to show him - but not that happy that he missed the party. It's hard to get a smile out of him these days, he's so serious!

SURPRISE
SURPRISE
SURPRISE!!!

Boy, did my friends ever pull a fast one on me! Mother Nature did too - almost made me miss my 1/2 century surprise birthday party... March 12th (which was really a surprise, because I don't officially turn 50 until April 12th...) I was watching the weather channel - waiting for the tornado warning sirens to shut off so I could head-out to Freddy T's, to watch the race with my Seesters. I had received several phone calls urging me out the door - which I really didn't find unusual - we're kind of like that before a race. I was held up because of those damn Midwest tornados... Anyway - I dodged the storms, pulled into the parking lot, happy to see some of our 'racing' group's vehicles (still not suspecting a thing). I mean, the day before I'd sent out e-mail's, reminding everybody that we'd be watching the race at Freddy T's, in case anybody wanted to join us. So there I was - gettin' all cocky, thinking "They really do read my e-mail's - cool!" Well, I strolled in, it was a packed house - and in spite of the storms and the race - it was all about me! There were posters on the wall with some old and new pictures, a fantastic cake, designed by Brian, a big bouquet of balloons from Pam and Sheryl, presents (most of them intended to embarrass me - some did!). We couldn't have had a better waiter, and I couldn't have had a bigger surprise! My family and friends make aging so much fun... especially since I figure we've got another good 50 years left to party and watch races together! Boogity Boogity Boogity!!!

Our AWESOME Waiter - Matt!

Sheryl's elephant will take on Ryck's anytime!

Kathy Beth, Fred, Thad & Judy Kay...

Cute Waiter Guy gives us a weather report. Yes, that's hail - but nobody had any car damage. We brave all kinds of weather to watch a race!

My beautiful daughter Shannon made my day by being there too!
These are just a few of my "gifts", you'll have to guess which one is Sharon's favorite... I'll save the Freedent, and the crown... Other gifts not pictured: a Tony Toilet seat, a NASCAR Track
Me & Fred - we've got 100 years between us! Lookin' Good!

I want to thank everybody for making this my best birthday EVER! I'm so lucky - I've had a whole lot of "best days ever", and the way things are going, it just keeps on getting better and better as the years go by! Boogity Boogity Boogity - Let's go racin' boys!

A Pool herd of my favorite guys: Brian, Dave, Thad and Morgan... I was so happy to see everybody!

scanner from my Seesters, a beautiful bubble bath set from Pam H., some great NASCAR reading material, joke books, an Over The Hill Survival kit... Looks like I'm Good To Go!
