TERRY BIVINS - First time out at Lakeside Speedway - as a spectator! He and his wife Claudia came to check out the track, and visit with lots of friends and fellow drivers. It was exciting watch him watch the Hot Laps - yep, he's still a driver! Won't be long now until his Grand National is out of the shop and on the track - that will be way too cool!

Wow - Chase Austin, is that the perfect name for a race car driver, or what??? I finally got to meet him at Lakeside - what a friendly, personable young man! Unfortunately, his #11A Modified was misbehaving that night, we didn't get to see him complete the A Feature - but that's racin'! The Summer of 2006 was a Dream-Come-True for Dirt Track fans when Terry Bivins came out of retirement and reminded us what hard core drivers are made of - and why he's a Legend in the Racing World! And best of all - Terry's SO fan friendly, always stopping for an interview, to sign stuff - and to talk about the car, the race - whatever is asked. NASCarla here... While watching the Gateway Busch Race (2007), I heard them say "Tim McCreadie", and thought that the name sure sounded familiar. So, digging through some of my older photo disks, I found this picture I had taken of Tim one night at Central Missouri Speedway (Warrensburg, Mo). It's him - it's him! Can't wait till he gets to the Cup level, it's just a matter of time! And he's racing for RCR - just like Clint Bowyer!
STOP THE PRESSES - I stand corrected! This from Tiffany Fowler, she signed our Guestbook..."The picture of "Tim"is not the actual Tim.. His name is Austin Alumbaugh and he races 305 sprint cars." Sorry Tim - Sorry Austin, you sure do look alike! Thanks again Tiffany - but I'm still wondering where I ran into Tim McCreadie, maybe he's raced out at Lakeside - will have to look into that!

Look here - another driver from Wellsville! Ben Kyle, son of 3 Sisters friend and classmate Bill Kyle, wheels a Grand National at Lakeside. Beautiful car pictured above. We'll be watching you Ben!
