Buckshot Jones - NASCarla's first favorite driver. When he was fired from Petty (supposedly sponsor issues) she quit buying Brawny Paper towels and GP paper, gotta make a stand in support of your driver.

David Stremme at Pikes Peak with the 3 Sisters... The news had just come out that he would be driving the #40 car in 2006, so we just had to offer our congratulations. Such a nice, accommodating driver!

Kathy Beth & NASCarla pose with Boston Reid at Pikes Peak International Raceway. Boston & Blake Feese were going to split the Busch series #5 car, but now we've heard they've both lost that ride... surely another team will pick them up, too much young, good-looking talent to waste on the Silly Season scramble!

CHAD BUFORD isn't a driver - but he gets up close to a lot of them, using his photography hobby as an excuse. NASCarla met him on her first trip to Warrensburg, she went down with the Walker Crew to watch Duane Sr. race his Modified. Chad had a couple of tables set up, all kinds of pictures, collectibles, quite an impressive display. Lots of Sprint Car memorabilia, he says he's known Danny Lasoski since they were twelve... Chad had pictures from Kenny Schrader's track in Pevely, Mo. - 3 Sisters has decided we need to trek out there next summer -

just to see the drivers for ourselves! NASCarla bought a few pictures from Chad: Carl Edwards, Dave Blaney, Casey Mears & Kasey Kayne. Chad referred me to a cool website with lots of Sprint pictures by Doug Johnson - Dirt Track Fury We didn't realize how many NASCAR drivers had Sprint roots, but figure that they've got to start somewhere, some kind of racing. With driver's personalities as competitive as they are, we imagine they'd race hamsters if that's all they had! And we'd watch them run!! Or scurry...

How can you not like Carl Edwards? NASCarla and her son Brad met Carl for the first time at a Kickoff luncheon at Kansas Speedway in April of '04. Brad was all excited, he was a fireman in Boone County, Missouri and had worked with one of Carl's buddies - Carl and Brad were standing there talking like old friends. Way cool for Mom... Carl won the Truck race that summer - 3 Sisters sit right by the flagstand - we got to see his famous back flip... too bad the only picture that we got of that moment was from a cheap, disposable camera...

The sig below Carl's is Alan Bestwick - met him too!

These photos on the left, Kasey Kahne and Dave Blaney were purchased from Chad, the photo of Dave Blaney on the right was bought from a friend of a friend who apparently had some kind of connections... Hey - we get'em where we can get 'em!

Casey Mears in the KU sponsored Busch car he drove at Kansas Speedway, 2002. He is so cute, so personable, wasn't difficult to become one of his fans! He can drive too!

Jeff Green gets a 'Sister Sandwich' from Kathy Beth and Judy Kay... Can't tell who's happier!

While camping at the Woodlands Race Track during the Kansas Speedway Race Weekend, a different kind of Driver sauntered into lives - Jockey Hugh Smith. It was incredible to meet him, he loves what he does. It was so interesting to hear his stories. So similar to race cars, it's all about horsepower anyway, isn't it? Hugh carries around his own 'gas pedal' in his hip pocket - only takes a tap he says.

Chad Knaus, Jimmie Johnson's Crew Chief, guest at Trackside, KS Speedway 2005.

Tracy Jones tells us that Robby Gordon insisted on this picture, didn't mind holding up the line a little, says they are his favorite fans.

Robby Gordon signs for Tracy Jones' son, doesn't bat an eye at the purple hair...

Elliot Sadler signs at Kansas Speedway 2005

Rusty Wallace lands his helicopter in the infield at Lakeside Speedway before the TORA/MLRA weekend. His brother Kenny was racing his Modified there, all 3 nights. Rusty didn't stop to sign any autographs, but he had the Cup race to get ready for, so we forgave him!

Jennifer Cobb signed autographs at Racefest, so we were able to see her a few times this year, she also drove for us at our Petty Ride-Along. Jennifer fits one of the most important criteria of being a 3 Sisters Favorite Driver... She's HOT!! Oh yeah, she can wheel a car rather nicely, and even has her own clothing line, The Driver Boutique - check it out! You go girl!!

Hey Race Fans - meet Dan Bellaire! When Jennifer Cobb was at MY HOUSE for a Spa Escape Party, she "forced" me to make a My Space page, said she had cool friends. Was she ever right! Dan Bellaire, from Canada, sent some mail and pics, and boy, does he have some stories! Just have to share them, check out his Blog, ask some questions, learn how it is from a Driver's view! Example:

"This was when we put our own stuff together, raced it, smashed it, broke it, fixed it, paid for it, the whole deal. Don't wanna fix it? Then you don't race! No big sponsor, no Hans and Hutchens, no power steering or cool suits. Bad brakes and bad tires. You changed a tire because it was flat, not because you "didn't like the way that the car was handling"! No special stuff so that your feet didn't burn during the race. You just knew that they were going to. I couldn't afford fireproof boots so I wore my cowboy boots. I am so thankful that I got to race in that era. The car was a handful to drive every lap. It was the fans that came in the pits after the races to see you that made it all worth while."

LOOK WHO TINA GOT TO TOUCH! Man, I'm soooo jealous! Robby Gordon is HOT!

Kathy Smith is a Jeff Gordon fan to the extreme! We met Kathy and her daughter Carla at Racefest 2006. Kathy had a #24 Monte Carlo, and told us she has met Jeff a number of times, even has collected a few kisses... here's the proof! She says he's awesome, just as we suspected, and it was so much fun hearing the stories! Kathy is definitely an
Above Average Race Fan!

Here are some candid pictures that Shannon and I were able to take when she got us Pit Passes - the Hot ones!! 2008, in the pits, surrounded by drivers, Pure Heaven! Lots of work though... Somebody had to do it!

Personally, I'm not real crazy about Mark Martin. My husband goes on and on and on about him (mostly to bug me, I think!). Sure he's a great driver, most fans love him, most drivers respect him, and he finally came to his senses and crawled back into a Chevy. But in my book he's a cranky, ungrateful old man. After winning the 2005 Kansas Sprint Cup race Martin drove directly onto pit road... No burnout, drive-by, climb-the-fence, not even a wave! To top it off, in Victory Lane he said "I don't like this track." Didn't even mention that the win ended a 52-race losing streak! I'm an Aries; we're territorial. And loyal. And if you whine after a Sprint Cup win, especially at MY track, by God, put on your Big Boy panties and celebrate it for us! - NASCarla

We took lots more pictures, just couldn't fit them all on this page, so have fun looking for them on other pages, they're everywhere!
