Scott was OK after this Wild Ride, the #5 needed a little work, to say the
least!!

Judy Kay and I have a problem getting close
to drivers - we're
always held back by the fear that they will think we're stalkers. Scott probably
doesn't know this, but I became a fan of his a few years back, when he rented
the Lakeside track with Duane Walker Sr. for a
Saturday dirt track practice session. I was pretty much a rookie at that time,
so didn't know the differences between factory stock and modifieds. But his
car was red and white (my favorite colors), and Scott is real good-looking,
the car is fast and loud - I was hooked! Like Judy Kay says, if your picking
out a Favorite Driver - he might as well be hot!
Here are Scott's Stats fresh off the back of his Autograph Card:
Scott began racing modifieds in 2001. Currently he is racing the NASCAR Dodge
Weekly Series at Lakeside Speedway, sometimes Topeka. He also enjoys racing
other tracks around the Midwest as often as he can.
In 2004 C.A.R.B. (Central Auto Racing Boosters) recognized Scott as the Most
Improved Driver.
In 2005 he won the C.A.R.B. Sportsman of the Year. 2006 season saw Scott as
#6 in the points standings at Lakeside. Pit Crew includes Troy Garner - John
Carter - Fred Pullen - Rob Betlach - Howard Clark - Scottie Andrews - Chuck
