Well, I'm probably going to make both of my sisters and Dan Bellaire mad - but my pick for the 2010 NASCAR Championship is #11 Denny Hamlin. I have been struggling with deciding between my top 3 choices: Juan Pablo Montoya, Kyle Busch, and Denny... It's going to take a lot of anger and determination to knock the #48 off his Championship throne, and I think it will take a driver that doesn't already have a Championship under his belt. Sorry Tony!
I also predict that both Scott Riggs and David Stremme's luck will improve, and they will manage to get a great ride.
Jeremy Mayfield will be forced into rehab. Won't work. If anybody needs drugs, Jeremy does - he really messed up a good thing, and sometimes there's just no going back.
Oh Danica, I'm so glad we have a Hot Lady Driver! Now James won't notice when I give all my attention to Tony during a NASCAR race - equality rules! So will Danica!

OK, we'll keep this short and sweet:
Kyle Busch will win the Cup Title - i.e. Jimmie Johnson will NOT 5-peat!
Dale Earnhardt Jr. will make the Chase
Danica will make the top 15 in the Nationwide Series
Mark Martin will make my wife (NASCarla) mad again when he wins a race.
As far as the Dirt Track goes, I see me (#3s James Bivins) making the A-feature at least three times during the 2010 racing season at Lakeside.

I predict that Brad Keselowski and Denny Hamlin will tangle again, probably in the Nationwide series rather than the Cup deal.
Danica Patrick takes her racing more serious than any female racer that I have seen and I think that attitude will bring her more success in 2010. She is the real deal. Tony Stewart will probably win alot of races and the championship. Brad Keselowski to win the Nationwide championship.

This is very difficult. I wish I could say it's Jeff Gordon winning the 2010 Sprint Cup championship. But I just don't see it. Jeff doesn't close well anymore, and I'm afraid that is going to be his downfall. He used to be the Champ at getting his setup right, but now he just seems to struggle. His top tens last year were phenomenal, and let's not count him out just yet for the Chase. But Hendrick has Jimmie now, and he'll ride him until he's spent. That's strictly horse talk, really. Last year I was all about Childress. And Good God was I wrong. This year, I'm going to be a Homer. Four words: Clint Bowyer, Carl Edwards. This is what these boys were bred for: winning. I hate to use horsespeak again, but that is the bottom line. Their pedigree lends itself to stamina, and that's what I'm betting on for the 2010 championship. No juggling, no gambling, strictly all out running until the horse either heads for the stall, or victory circle.

My bets for the top 12 in the Chase:
1. Clint Bowyer
2. Carl Edwards
3. Jimmie Johnson
4. Denny Hamlin
5. Jeff Gordon
6. Kyle Busch
7. Matt Kenseth
8. JPM
9. Kurt Busch
10. David Reiuteman 11. Junior
12. Greg Biffle

Oh, by the way: Don't take this to the Bank. Miss ya Dad.
Love, Judy Kay
